What is included

One membership opens the entire guide: every category, every write-up, and the shortlists and comparisons. There are no tiers and nothing unlocks later.

New entries and revisions are included as they are published. Apps change, and so do the write-ups.

How it is billed

  1. $1.95 today to start the trial.
  2. A recurring charge after the trial, unless you cancelled first.
  3. That charge repeats at the stated interval until you cancel.

The recurring amount and the interval are displayed on the sign-up page before you confirm, together with the date of the first charge. Payment is handled there through a secure processor; no card details are collected on this website.

The membership renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. If a payment fails, access may be paused until it goes through.

Taxes may apply depending on your state and are shown before you confirm.

Automatic renewal

Renewal is automatic so access is not interrupted. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee, and you may cancel at any time, which stops the renewal immediately.

Cancelling

Cancelling is free and takes a moment. Do it from your account, or email contact@protopapps.com from the address on your account.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Except where required by law, no partial refunds are given for unused time.

Refunds and your rights

If you believe you were charged in error, email contact@protopapps.com with the date and the amount and we will look into it.

Nothing on this page limits rights you may have under applicable federal or state consumer protection law, including automatic renewal laws in states such as California.

Questions about billing

Where do I see the price?
On the sign-up page, in full, before you confirm anything. The amount, the billing period and the date of the first charge are all shown there.
Does it renew automatically?
Yes, until you cancel. There is no minimum term and cancelling stops the renewal immediately.
Where does the charge appear?
On your card statement, under the descriptor shown at sign-up. If a charge is not clear, email us the date and amount and we will identify it.
Can I pause instead of cancelling?
There is no pause. Cancel whenever you like and start again later.
