TopAppsNow is an editorial guide, not an app store. We do not host or distribute software. Every entry links to the official listing on the App Store, Google Play or the developer's own site.
The membership opens the whole guide: 1450 write-ups across ten categories, plus the shortlists and comparisons we build for common jobs.
How an app gets in
Editors install the app and use it. That sounds obvious, and it is the part most lists skip.
We check what permissions it asks for and whether the job actually needs them, and we read store reviews for patterns rather than star counts.
Nothing is a paid placement. If that ever changes, it will be labelled on the entry itself.
How the billing works
You start with a $1.95 trial, which you can cancel at any time. After the trial period, unless you cancel, a recurring charge applies until you cancel. The amount and the interval are shown in full on the sign-up page before you confirm.
Payment is handled on that page, not on this website, and no card details are collected here.
There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
How to cancel
Cancel from your account at any time, or send one email to contact@protopapps.com from the address on your account. You will get a confirmation and you will not be billed again.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then.
